Fashion Fix: Fabric Bags for Fall

The transition from Summer to Fall always leaves us in a bit of a fashion free-for-all.  Strapless dresses, sleek sandals, slouchy sweaters, and slinky boots are all appropriate on different days.  We're left with a bevy of confounding questions: Is it okay to wear wool and linen at once?  How about shorts and boots?  And even Miss Manners admits that there's still some debate about donning white after Labor Day.

One thing is for sure though: you can transition seamlessly (and stylishly) from summer sun to a fresh fall with these edgy canvas bags by Leigh & Luca.  We're loving the muted palette of greys, blacks, and tans for cooler weather.  The chain accents lend an element of military style-- a key trend for Fall 2010.

The Flower & Trees Tote ($246)
A smattering of velvet branches adds depth to this Flower & Trees Tote.  The watch-chain detail and unexpected chain handle accent give the classic shape tons of spunk.

Crushed Canvas & Leather Bag ($228)
The more subdued Crushed Canvas bag (above) has a slouchy style that is quite wearable.  We're loving it with army greens and edgy studs for fall, but wear it right now with your favorite denim cutoffs.
